Treanna joined Risius Family Veterinary Service in July 2023 and brings with her 17 years of veterinary experience. Treanna started her veterinary career as a receptionist but found her passion as a Veterinary Technician. Treanna followed her passion and decided that she wanted to become a credentialed Veterinary Technician. She joined Penn Foster’s Veterinary Technician program in 2020 and will hopefully be graduating in winter 2023. Her favorite parts of the job are venipuncture, placing IV catheters, exploratory surgeries, and client education.
Treanna’s fur family includes her Pomeranians Remy, Otis, Flora, and Cosmo as well as her Shar Pei Zailee. However, over the years she has had a variety of pets including hamsters, mice, guinea pigs, ferrets, and parakeets. In her spare time Treanna enjoys spending time with her granddaughter, baking, and collecting various types of houseplants, her favorite being Alocasias or anything that is unique or rare.
