We partner with local general practitioners to collaborate on patient care. We do things the right way.

Thank you for choosing Risius Family Veterinary Service for your veterinary needs. When you schedule an appointment with us, we set aside time to provide you with the highest level of care. We understand unforeseen emergencies do happen; however, if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we would appreciate you contacting our office as soon as possible, ideally 24 hours or more beforehand, so that we can provide care to another pet/animal.

Please be advised of our small animal appointment cancellation/no-show policy, effective January 2023: Any established client who fails to show or cancels/reschedules an appointment without 24-hour notice may be required to leave a deposit when scheduling future appointments. You will be advised of this if you fall into this category. The deposit will be applied to the total balance if the appointment is kept but will be forfeited if the rescheduled appointment is not kept, or a cancellation/reschedule is not made within 24 hours.

We encourage all pet owners to start a savings account for their pet(s) to help pay for on-going costs and emergency veterinary needs.
