Natalie joined the Risius family in Fall 2021, with almost seven years of experience in the veterinary field. She came from a Small Animal/Exotic hospital, and loves all things furry, scaled, and feathered. She has known that this would be her career field since she could remember, and says that even on the hardest days, she wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Natalie loves radiology, venipuncture, working in the lab, and helping the doctors in exam rooms, so she can spend as much time as possible getting to know each patient and owner on a personal level. She is very devoted to her patients, and always lends an open ear and shoulder to her clients. There is a running joke that every patient is her favorite, but that just means that she loves them all equally!
Outside of work, Natalie stays busy with her fiancé and three children. The family has three pit bull dogs: Otis, Lola, and Darwin, as well as an elderly Siamese mix cat, Marley Mae, and two ball pythons, Macaroni Pepperoni and Minerva Mozzarella. Natalie enjoys loud music, Magic The Gathering, and resin crafting in her little bit of free time. She swears there is room for another dog in the mix, but her fiancé begs to differ…
